So tent mode on my X1 Yoga Gen 2 is not working. It was working when I first received but the fingerprint reader wasn't. I updated the fingerprint driver, and that now works, but tent mode is not. I've trired to follow other suggestions, but there is no rotation lock in my action bar, or in my settings whichever position I have the Yoga in - tent, tablet, whatever - no rotation lock at all.
I've updated all my drivers, aplied the specific fix for this, checked the registery settings, done an in-place restore of windows 10 - everything to no avail. The sensors work as I can see the prientation just fine from a monitoring app I downloaded. And one more thing - the service Sensor Monitoring Service is not running. When I try to start it it says that it started and then stopped. Not sure if that's relevant.
Help please. I paid a fair amount extra above an X1 price to have a tent style computer, and it's just not working.

my experience is.....
first a windows clean install
then the lenovo drivers..with the lenovo system update tool
and then all windows updates.
then everything runs smoothly....
