We have been fighting a new Lenovo Yoga X1 + new Thunderbolt 3 Dock+ new LVO T22I-10 21.5IN 1920X1080 LED MON for 2 months. We've updated all drivers and bios on the Yoga - up to date as recently as yesterday.
Still every day, the client sits her Yoga on the desk, plugs in the lightning cable, waits and 90% of the time, the external monitor does not come on. We've tried VGA cable and Displayport cables. Neither work.
What is the deal with this? Is it just defective? This completely new computer set up shouldn't be such a hassle. Please advise.

No display on dock monitor (DisplayPort or VGA port)
