Yoga X380 speeds down if it is folded

Hi there,

I have observed, that the Yoga X380 speeds down if the display is folded (working in tablet mode).

A compilation of a C++ project needs in normal Laptop case (Keyboard usable) 29 seconds and all 8 logical processors are working with 100%.

The same compilation in folded case (Yoga stands on the keyboard) needs 1 Minute 48 seconds. The 8 logical processors are working only with max 47%.

Can someone explain me this?

Best regards Timo

Hi Tien1602!

Welcome to the community forums.

Could you try to access the BIOS and find the setting to disable DPTF and disable it. Once you're done save and exit in the BIOS and check if the issue remains.

Let us know how it goes.

Sorry, I can't find the DPTF setting in the BIOS. Can you explain me where I can find this?
