I'm toying with getting an X280 to replace my 5 year old MacBook Pro. A small form factor is important to me these days as I make music when I'm out and about, but when I am using it at home I'd also like to be able to use it with an external GPU (the Razer Core X for example) to do some low end graphics work, and occasionally play some games of course. Does anyone know if the X280 has the ability to run external graphics via the Thunderbolt 3 port?
It's not necessarily a deal breaker for me, the kind of graphics work I want to do is very low-res, low-poly stuff, and maybe the internal graphics will handle this just fine. It would just be good to know going forward - I called tech support and they gave me a vague yes, based on the X280 having Thunderbolt 3.
Any information/experiences with this would be greatly appreciated!
