finger touch does not function on x200 under windows XP

I am a corporate user and just upgraded from an X61 tablet to an x200 tablet and are slowly exploring the new features.

The specs as given to me are that this is a x200 7450 RZ1, but I can not find anywhere on the web what the exact specs are.

So question is does this machine have finger touch and or WWAN on board.

Finger touch did work for 2 minutes but will not return.

I have browsed the web but can only find a driver for Vista.

Please help

Try this:

Lenovo Fingerprint Software for Windows Vista 32 bit and XP

ThinkPad X200s + LED | SL9400 | 4GB DDR3 1066 | 500GB Momentus XT | Intel 5350 WiMax | BT & FPR | 9-cell | Win7-x64 & Linux x64 | Ultrabase Smiley Very Happy
ThinkPad E10/Edge 11 | K325 | 2GB DDR3 1066 | 320GB 5400

Re: finger touch does not function on x200 under windows XP

Thanks for that response, but that is the fingerPRINT reader, which is working fine. It is the finger TOUCH which I am looking for.

This is the multitouch functionality of the screen

A colleague has the same tablet and touch is working, so what might be the problem.

And does anybody know  how I can check if the machine has WWAN ?

Thanks

Re: finger touch does not function on x200 under windows XP

Hi corp-user.

The Lenovo Support & downloads site has your system specs. You can find any system spec by entering the model number.

Looks like it is WWAN upgradeable, i.e. all the antennas are there. But no WWAN card unless someone added one. You should see it in the device manager or when you Fn-F5 to enable wireless.

The multitouch driver for your system is on the Support & download page.

Tell us how it goes...
