I have threshold set to 95 and now computer is plugged in. I set power option to work in high performance when plugged id and power saver when in battery mode in the power option.
my question is when the computer is plugged in but not charging is it then in power saver or high performance mode?

Welcome to Lenovo Community! And happy to have you here.
As I understand that you have query regarding Power options in your X230.
The answer is system is in High Performance Mode as and comsumes power from Adapter not from battery and threshold entrupts the battery being charged constantly.
I hope the above information helped you.

Thank you, because it's getting down to 94 sometimes then 95 again I thought it drains from battery(battery saving according to my plan despite plugged in) but then if it always drains from power, then why is it getting lower from 95 to 94?
Also I put 95 but is there optimum number to set the threshold? If yes why?
Why not disable the threshold? when battery is 100 doesn't the machine same way consume from plug and cuts charging? Please help me understand how and why is this threshold healthy or is its use suggested?

Also my x230 power button needs to be pressed and held for 1 sec to take it to sleep. How can I make it so that it is just one time press to sleep it?
Also when in sleep my wireless mouse wakes up causing battery drainage in my bad, in device manager when I set mouse to prevent from waking up I also have to prevent keyboard from waking up the system so that mouse doesn't wake up.. But then I guess because of sth happening in keyboard wake up prevention, every time laptop is waken up from sleep,Key refresh rate is slower even though I didn't change any setting. In order to fix it I need to go to keyboard refresh rate and slide to anywhere and back to its original posiiton and apply so that key rate is like before.. How can I permanently fix this issue as well as remove mouse waking up computer from sleep?

Also just now the dock for the first time weirdly charged the laptop until 100 instead of 95 even tough I checked battery threshold was still on, I switched off and on to reset it. But why did this happen tough?

Regarding battery threshold its normal if battery percentage decrease by 1% no harm in that, even it happens with my system.
And to know more about battery threshold and why to use it here is one thread please go through this.
Do let us know how it goes.
