keyboard Fix lenovo thinkpad X230

Hi Sirs/Madams,

Good Day.

I would like to seek for your humble assistance if ever you have any idea on how to fix the whole plate of the x230 keyboard. What happend was accidentally I spilt a huge amount of coffer in my unit. i immediately placed my laptop upside down to run any liquid in the keyboard, how ever after a couple of hours, i cannot use it any more. when I tried to swithed it off, and try to switch-on; no avail. Will there be any chance that i can still recover the whole keyboard? since i tried to use other keyboard (same model) and it worked. also the power button does not function anymore.

Thanks thanks

Re: keyboard Fix lenovo thinkpad X230

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

I’m sorry to hear that you spilled coffee on your Lenovo ThinkPad X230 and afterwards, the keyboard stopped functioning.

Refer the hardware maintenance manual of X230 to understand how to perform installation and disassembly of hardware components.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
