I have been having a problem with my Lenovo X1 yoga 2 concerning vantage, battery threshold didn't work.
So i decided to uninstall all Lenovo software and try to reinstall them.
Vantage from MS store is installed but do not start fully and always ask for SIF. SIF seems to install but after rebooting the machine It seems that the installation has failed, I can't find it anywhere and Vantage keeps asking for it.
Could anyone give me some help with this problem?

(1) Uninstall Vantage app.
(2) Uninstall SIF from programs and features if found.
(3) Install SIF version 1.1.16 (july 4 2018) release from your support page(software and utilities section).
(4)Now install Vantage from the windows store.
Report back your findings. Vantage takes several reboots to sync up (ie, battery settings).

I followed all the steps, same error in vantage, vantage report SIF is missing. Do you have another more technical solution? Can I check some log from SIF installation, where is the install folder ? is there suppose to be a service running?

LSIF is no longer listed in Control Panel -> Programs. Please follow these steps to uninstall it and reboot.
Then you can re-install it, hopefully the problem will be gone. If not, let me know.

This didn't work, the System Interface Foundation V2 Device doesn't appear in the list of system devices. Also the imcontroller command is not present...
That means it's not installed. Let me check with someone about how to get the installation logs that will hopefully point to a failure. I'll get back to you soon.

Please download and extract the attached zip file. You can extract it anywhere (to your desktop is fine). Then double-click on get_installer_logs. It will copy some files that we need to a folder called logs_for_lenovo. Please zip up this folder and then attach it here. Thanks!
