I bought an Ultrabase Series 3 for my x230 which runs windows 10. The optical drive works, the audio works, I have not tested the Display Port, but the USB ports do not work at all. I assume the problem is that I need drivers for the USB 3.0 slots. I have been all over the Lenovo support site, but find nothing. Either I missed it, or Lenovo has decided not to support them,
Perhaps somebody else has had this problem and has solved it? I did find drivers listed for download at an alternate site, but my AV software indicated that there is a virus in the download.

Hi coover, There are no drivers for the Ultrabase Series 3. Something else is going one here. Have the Ultrabase USB's every worked? Do the USB ports on the laptop work? It's possible you have a bad Ultrabase or a connection problem - is it used?

I bought it used and, yes, the laptops USB ports do work properly. So it is possible that I have a bad ultrabase or a bad connection. Is there someway to check that?

Inspect the docking contacts. Do they look OK? Try cleaning the docking contacts with isopropyl alcohol or electronics contact cleaner. After that I'm out of ideas.
