x1 missing restore

How can I restore my x1 carbon is the f11 (or whatever button it is) is missing on the boot screen?

Does that mean there is no recovery partition?

Re: x1 missing restore

Hi Buddy  i was stumped also... it used to be there... Boot into Win 10 as normal then press windows Key and type in restore it will say reset or similar. click that  and it will give you options choose if you want a factory image or keep data then click follow screen and it will reboot  and the PRESS ENTER  and F11 AND F12 will be there you wont need them for this stage as it has already been instructed by you to reset.

It will boot into a system image boot dialogue take it from there i used the NVME0 so it reimaged from my hidden 100gb system restore partition i have a 1TB NVME.

If all fails you pull off a 15GB system restore image from Lenovo.

Hop it helps

Regards

M Ahmed
