Solution of NO SATELLITES problem is simple: CLOSE THE WEATHER GADGET It's funny but ThinkVantage GPS Enabler has some incompatibility with Windows 7 Sidebar Weather Gadget. After closing of gadget you will find satellites soon. I can get a good fix with the Gobi and without a SIM card.

However the problem is that it's not showing up in the "Location and Other Sensors" control panel.

 

Anyone got this working?
