x100e display problem

The lcd display of my x100e looks kind of  pale that I can hardly recognize the grid lines in EXCEL  2007 and the highlight box in my windows. I try to tune down the brightness but this wont solve the problem, I think maybe the contrast setting is not correct or the ati driver is not up-to-date? is there anyone who has the same problem?Smiley Sad

How can I solve this prolem, please help me, THX !!!

Re: x100e display problem

1) Right click background, click Catalyst Control Center.

2) Once it loads (if prompted, select advanced mode), go to the menu (upper left corner) and navigate to PowerPlay.

3) Uncheck the checkmark next to Enable Vari-Bright.

4) Click OK.

It's basically a power saving feature that adjust screen brightness and contrast to maximum levels so it can reduce backlight brightness, which does work, but unfortunately washes out the display.
