x200 fn problems

Hi!

Today FN key worked perfectly in windows and in linux...

But after keyboard cleaning fn don't wor now, mb i press any combination for turned off fn.

How turn on back fn?

thnx!

Hi Coolo,

 

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

 

As per the query we understood that you are facing issue with function keys on your ThinkPad X200.

 

Try reinstalling the following.
1. Lenovo Power Manager
2. Lenovo Power Management driver
3. Hotkey package
4. Video driver.

Note: Please reboot after you have uninstalled all the drivers then install it then reboot then test.

Thanks, I reintalled all driver in windows 7.
But issue left, fn not working...
how reinstall lenovo software will help, if fn worked in Linux and windows?
In bios fn enable.

All the hardware in the system will work with combination of software’s, hence please check with below step. All these software is supported for Windows OS.

 

I request you to run the ThinkVantage system update tool to check for all the latest drivers and application for your system.

ThinkVantage system update loaded, now installed all last updates, but fn too not work...

Hi Coolo,

 

Please boot the system into BIOS mode and go to Config – Keyboard/Mouse and check if Fn Key Lock is ‘Enabled’. Please click here to visit the link to view the image.

Fn Key Lock is ‘Disabled’
but fn too don't work...

It is very sad to hear that the issue still persists in yours system, has we have checked will all the troubleshooting steps and it looks like an hardware issue, hence I request you to visit nearby service center for further assistance.
