Appearantly BIOS System time is also incorrect. should i replace Backup Battery or something wrong with motherboard?

Good day.

My guess is that "RTC" indeed means Real Time Clock, which would mesh with your observation of incorrect BIOS time. If it were my machine, I'd try the backup battery replacement.

Page 82-82 of the HMM: https://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles_pdf/x200_x200s_x200si_x201_x201i_x201s_hmm_en_43y6632_11.pdf show it to be pretty easy to access. Only keyboard and palm rest removals are required.

Regards.

Hi,

Yes i changed several bios battery but I figured out that problem is not related with hardware, it s because of linux. I tested 2 harddrives; 1- ssd, running dual boot with windows 10 and ubuntu 2- hdd only windows 10. When i make same test with 1st dual boot drive it fails, with 2nd drive it passes. Something is ruining bios time with dual boot.

i couldnt find a solution for that. Since it s not hardware problem i just ignore it.
