x220 adaptive brightness

2015-02-14, 3:15 AM

I know some of you may have seen stuff like this before:

Ive been trying to get rid of adaptive brightness that has been distracting at times.

I have turned adaptive brightness off in the windows 7 battery option

I have disable the adaptive brightness service

I have heard of one way by disabling display power management in intel graphic properties but i thought that might affect the batter y life in a bad way

I have considered deleting the sensrsvc.dll that is related to adaptive brightness.

I have also been told there is a light sensor somewhere on my computer but I cannot find it in the manual.

It may help to know that I have battery thresholds set from 70%-75%
