I posted a question yesterday about USB installation. Since then I found out the following:
The problem is not related to the USB, I tried 2 and they both worked on my PC.
I tried several image files, they all yield the same results.
Tired UEFI and/ or Legacy boot, the same were the results.
In the end I did this, as I suspected that there is a problem with the USB controller:
But it did not work. Quite simply, in the same case, the directory boots up and then nothing happens. Every time, the installation begins but freezes on the Windows logo then restarts the system. Either from the HDD or the USB, does not matter.
Boot settings are all in order, tried AHCI and Compatibility mode for the HDD, the same results.
Any ideas what might cause the problem?
Would I be able to install a new system with Hiren's boot?
Thanks in advance

Sorry for bumping my own topic, but it is really frustrating.
Is it possible that the BIOS update caused a problem related to booting said installations?
If so, could I roll back or downgrade the BIOS?
