Hi all, I have a Thinkpad x220i that is not powering up. The user was claiming poor battery life and not charging prior to this happening. I had taken a look at it and it was charging up fine. A couple of weeks later it will not turn on.
Only thing happening now is the battery light blinks green 5 times with the 4th blink lasting longer than the other then it goes dead. Not powering up, no fans starting, no hard drive spin. Nothing.
Any help would be greately appreciated.

It was new. I removed the hard drive to retrieve the users data and when I plugged it back in the laptop was able to reboot. I had tried the removal of memory and drive then reboot and it had not worked. Not sure why it worked the second time after access the hard drive.
Upon reboot it did say that Windows was not properly shut down.
