x250 External battery disabled

Hello there,

Today my external battery disabled by system without my permission. Now i cant get it being used. Only internal battery is being used right now. Here are the steps that i tried :

Restart, Restart without external battery, Restart with external battery installed, Reinstall Drivers, Disable internal battery. Lenovo settings does recognise battery and can get information from it. But device manager doesnt recognise the battery. Why is this happening ? i dont have issues with anything at this computer it just suddenly happened after i shut down computer.

Thanks,

Alp

Re: x250 External battery disabled

Don't quite follow this. If I understand correctly, the battery is recognised by Lenovo and charges and can power the laptop but doesn't show under Device Manager? Or it does show under Device Manager but has a question mark? Or it doesn't power the laptop at all?

Can you please explain further nd provide more details.

Re: x250 External battery disabled

Okey, battery is recognized by "lenovo settings" but not by windows device manager. So it wont power up or charge. But today some how it fixed it self. Now it works.
