I recently upgraded from a x250 to a x270 and I have a little problem with my bluetooth speaker.
It's a 20K5-S28Y00 model. Its working with Windows 7 pro 64bits.
The sound level is a least twice lower than it should be.
I tested my speaker on others computers and it works fine.
After some research I have found this topic on Intel website :
I followed the procedure (uninstalled the KB3172605, removed the bluetooth sofware)
After reboot I installed the latest version for the 8260 found here :
After connnecting my speaker the sound is normal.
Then I reboot (or shutdown and manually start) my computer and when I connect the speaker again, the level is twice lower again.
The only working thing is :
Go to add/delete programs menu
Right-click on the Bluetooth program
Select repair (need reboot)
And after the reboot it's working again.
Then after reboot or shutdown and manual start. It goes wrong again.
The probleme is the same with or without the KB3162605 installed.
Thanks for reading all this and for your answers.
