Display Losing All Brightness On Start Up

2009-06-26, 4:32 AM
I am running an x61t with Windows Vista.  If I start or restart the computer the display comes on with the full amount of brightness.  I'm running it on maximum power.  After a few seconds into loading it loses all brightness.  Is there any way to fix this without having to always manually brighten it myself?

It seems like a feature that new Power manager has. Dim screen all the way when shutting down and starting up the computer. However, the brightness will go back after getting into Windows.

If it's not, try uncheck this feature in ThinkVantage power manager. It should do the trick.

I'm not sure what you want me to uncheck in Power Manager.
