I suggest all of you to remove every trace of any touch/pen drivers before making any kind of calibration attempts. Better yet, reset the calibration data before that via the Control Panel. After that some Wacom drivers need the underlying Windows drivers to recognize the tablet hardware. In this case run Windows Update first. Restart if needed.

After that, well, I'm not sure which drivers work best for X220T - Wacom or Lenovo's - but install them, calibrate the digitizer from a clean state and then report your findings. If the calibration is still off, remove the drivers and switch drivers. Then calibrate again.

Tedious, I know, but it's the only way to get objective results.. :(

I'm very disappointed.

I installed this long-waited-for 'fix'. It certainly does not fix the problem for me (tried uncalib/4-pts calib/16-pts calib - no improvement).

Now what?

This fix isn't working at all for me.  I installed the firmware, uninstalled "ISD Tablet" (Lenovo driver), did both 16 and 4 point calibrations, and there is absolutely no improvement.

Anyone else still having problems?

The same here this fix not working at all

I't didn't work for me too.

I installed the new firmware but nothing changed.

( I did it all by the instructions of lenovo, without playing with anything around)

So disappointed... :\

I'm using the Wacom drivers for tablet PC from their website, downloaded a few days ago.

It seems to provide the 16 point calibration as standard, I'm not using tabcal.

I'm using http://cdn.wacom.com/U/drivers/TabletPC/ISD_DualTouch_701-8.exe

I just checked in the ISD Tablet properties->About and it corresponds to this version number.

It is presenting me with 16 calibration points for pen and 4 points for touch.

The Lenovo drivers present me with 4 calibration points for both pen and touch.

A quick update after a day's use with the tablet firmware update.

I see from the posts that I may be luckier than some, perhaps there is some variation in production?

The bottom corners are still out (I have to use the pen carefully to get the cursor into the last 10mm or so of the corners closest to the speakers).

The edges meetimg near Lenovo logo are still wobbly.

However, the difference to accuracy is such that working with the X220t in tablet mode for everyday Windows-type tasks becomes possible rather than something to give up on as a joke/toy/gimmick... I don't know about use for artwork.

I am noticing parallax error where before the cursor was always the culprit.

Pen orientation seems important at the edges and corners, keeping a constant angle of dangle seems to help.

I'm right-handed.

This is on 4296-2YU.

So my verdict has changed from "unuseable" to "better, useable, but not fixed".
