How to install windows xp tablet using recovery discs?

My tablet came with some recovery discs for the downgrade to windows xp tablet version. i want to know if i could install xp while keeping vista? thanks.

Please refer to the Vista Downgrade Support page for directions:

You should first create a set of recovery media which will allow you to restore your system back to Vista at a later time. Then you would use the set of XP Recovery disks to install the XP Pro factory pre-load on your system.

In case you want a dual boot--XP tablet & Vista, you have to use your XP tablet recovery disc in order to get XP work first. Then use Vista setup disc (not recovery) to install a new Vista on your machine. Vista will take care of boot loader and everything so that you can use both Vista and XP Tablet.
