Multitouch features?

Hi one again from Sri Lanka,

I recently boutht the x61 tablet Multitouch / Mutliview model. Do I need to download drivers from Lenovo in order touse the Multitouch features on the screen (I mean in order for me to use finger etc.) ?

could someone help me ?

When you first had this tablet, it supposes to work out of the box since Lenovo installed everything from necessary drivers to bloatware.

 

However, if you do clean install or anything, you could find a multi-touch driver from here in case you are using Vista 32-bit. In case you are using different OS, please check it out here.

Be sure to include your model number (e.g. 7762-B6U) in your postings, this can be helpful in resolving issues.   Keep in mind that not all x61s are Multi-Touch by default.  Also include the details on your purchase, which retail outlet or source and relevant information.  This can be useful in determining if your tablet was remanufactured and may have parts like the battery already used to some extent.  

 

In response to your post, my recent purchase of a X61 Multi-Touch worked perfectly out of the box with no setup required. 

Full disclosure: Not a Lenovo employee, just someone with a X61 running Win XP SP2
