New power manager spawns multiple PWMIDTSK processes

2009-07-13, 19:29 PM

Since I updated the power manager, as I leave my machine engaged, I get multiple instances of PWMIDTSK.EXE spawned. For instance, I right now have 35 instances of this process running. THis MAY be related to the sleep process, as I regularly let my machine sleep/hibernate. But I haven't checked this. The only way to clear this is to reboot as the some of them are protected from my (administrator) access.

I have an X61 table 7764 CTO with all the software updates.
