TV-out on X61 tablet?

2008-07-29, 1:42 AM

Hello,

I've tried searching the forums and lenovo's website, but I cannot find the information I am looking for. I would like to output my tablet's display to my TV, which only has RCA inputs. Does the X61 tablet support TV out directly (by using a vga-rca cable such as this one), or will I have to buy a converter box?

Thank you,

M. J. Sklar

There is a reason why most of these VGA to Composite cables has some fine print associated with them.   Most VGA cards do not support TV-Out and the ones that go generally have a special TV-Out port in addition to the monitor output.     A converter box is the way to go on your listed alternatives or better yet find a PC Card that will fit your needs.   JMO.
