Would like to clean up X41 to "Brand New" status

2011-11-12, 21:08 PM

Hello

I have an x41 tablet and i love her. The problem is i am prone to downloading junk, etc. Now i want to clear absolutely everything off and return it to factory settings. I want to start clean with exactly the programs i want now that i have found the ones i like.

I don't have a dock for the CD... And i have that problem where the Bios does not have a "recovery" option.

I am aware that Xp tablet edition was not released publicly... So I don't want to loose it.

Can you guys help me out?

Thank you

Jonathan

Hi Jonathan and welcome to the Community,

You are going to need recovery discs and an external optical drive.

External optical drives are cheap nowadays and and you're going to have to have some way to install from a disc.
