[bug] Pressure Sentivity issues in ThinkPad Enhanced Multitouch Driver for Windows 7

2011-07-18, 14:15 PM

The driver package as titled has problems with pressure sensitivity in some programs. Dev please take note.

                                                                   Revision : 01
Software name ThinkPad MultiTouch Driver

Support models ThinkPad T420s, T420si
                   ThinkPad W510, W520
                   ThinkPad X200 Tablet, X201 Tablet, X220 Tablet, X220i Tablet

Operating Systems Microsoft Windows 7 32-bit, 64-bit
                   Microsoft Windows Vista 32-bit, 64-bit
Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 SP2, SP3
                   Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP3

Refer to marketing materials to find out what computer models
                   support which Operating Systems.

Versions (Package)
                   - (Virtual Touch Driver)
                   - (Virtual Touch Interface)
                   - (Wacom Virtual Hid Driver)
                   - (Wacom Mouse)

This driver has problem with regards to applications, e.g. ArtRage, Photoshop which uses pressure sensitivity data from Wacom WinTab ink service. The Pressure Sensitivity is not correctly scaled and is over sensitive. The Tablet PC driver from Wacom here however, performs properly.
