[tablet only] Cursor Gets stuck in the corner of the screen if the computer is started lid-closed

2014-11-25, 1:12 AM

I just recently got an X200 tablet and found a very strange bug with the wacom touch mechanism. If the laptop is booted up with the lid closed, the mouse pointer will jump to the top left corner of the screen any time I attempt to use the stylus after opening the lid (trackpoint still works fine). I have tested this multiple times both ways and confirmed that it was not just a coincidence.

Just to see what would happen, I tried booting the computer with the lid closed, but with the screen facing outward (slate mode), and the problem does not occur at that time, interestingly enough. I am currently using the standard Windows update-issue driver, but the same issue is present if I install the driver from the product's support page (which I found to be buggy and annoying anyway).

Any ideas? This is a great little computer, but this bug is a bit on the annoying side sometimes.
