I have a 2011 Lenovo Thinkpad S/N - #######, with a 52+ 11.1 V 5.16Ah Li-ion 00 battery (FRU P/N - 42T4879, ASM P/N - 42T4880) that is not functioning at all, and hence I plan to buy a new replacement battery, but when I check on the lenovo website, I get a recommendation: external, 6c, 2.9Ah, LiIon, PAN, part - 45N1177) which is a 67+ 10.8 V 5.13Ah Li-ion 20.
1) If I buy 67+, will it be compatible with my laptop?
2) Is it a better battery?

It is the newer version. I don't know about "better" but it is compatible and has the circuitry to work with x230
