Are there size limits for Solid State Drives? I wish to upgrade but am worried about the size.

Question

I was thinking of upgrading my harddrive from the 320gb stock to a solid state drive.

But I am not sure which one to get. Is there a size/ height limit? I bought one that is 9.5 mm before and it was a very tight squeeze.

Answer

The recommended maximum size/ height specifications can be accessed in your User Manual, or in the hardware manual of your laptop.

Users are advised to refer to these documents to ensure that the appropriate sizes are obtained.
