Re: Battery health mode no longer in settings app - how can I change?

I tried to unistall the package, and I got several error messages, but the uninstallation went through. I rebooted, but the system still doesnt charge the battery. I cannot find Lenovo Settings Dependency Package through the control panel any more, but there is Lenovo Dependency Package in place. Should I remove also that?

When I go to Lenovo Settings in Windows, I dont have the power tab there any more, but I have Location awareness and AUdio tabs

Anyway, no charging still. I have not yet reinstalled the dependency package

I removed also Lenovo Dependency Package, but no change to charging behavior: no charging above 50% level

Lenovo Dependency Package has nothing to do with this issue.

Please try to re-install Lenovo Settings Dependency Package.

Settings dependency package re-installed, but charging didn't start. I unplugged the power cable and the battery now has 5 % charging left. I will see if it stops at 50% again.

Nope, unfortunately charging stopped at 50% level.

What should I try next?

Re: Battery health mode no longer in settings app - how can I change?

Good news!!

I re-installed also the Lenovo Dependency package (for windows 8, not 8.1), and the charging started to continue beyond 50 % level.

This was weird, but thank you very much for your support!

BTW, I called to Lenovo support desk in Finland on Tuesday this week and they said that it is a Lenovo issue only if there is a hardware fault. He started to talk about warranty terms. I insisted that there is a fault in the computer if it doesnt charge, and then the guy at Lenovo support desk said that they are not interested since Lenovo technical support is subcontracted to them and he doesnt care.

If Lenovo wants to examine this further, I called to the service desk ((080014260 in Finland) at 15.10 on 12th Nov.
