Can I install a pair of 4GB PC3-10600 DDR3-1333 SODIMM into my X200 or X200 Tablet ThinkPad?  Will the BIOS see all 8 GB, and will it downclock to 1066MHZ properly?

Officially the X200T supports 4GB at the time of publication.  However, the CPU and chipset in these systems will indeed support 8GB total memory using 2 x 4GB DDR3 SODIMMs.  Single 8GB modules are not compatible.

2 x 4GB 1333MHz modules will report as 8192MB in BIOS and downclock to 1066MHz on this system.  1066MHz modules will run at their native frequency.  A 64-bit OS is needed to take advantage of the additional memory, otherwise you will be limited to approximately 3GB in a 32-bit OS.
