On my X201t the display is/remains dark, before I am logged in (only after successful log-in, the display light is switched on).
This makes it enourmously tedious to enter the password (e.g. after waking up the system from suspend or hibernate). I then only have to find and click into the password entry field on a dark screen, on which one can only under light from a certain angle faintly see the logon panel with its user buttons and the password entry field.
And the most upsetting: I have no clue, where I have set this option and/or where I could change this. Power manager doesn't seem to offer any option "disable/dim display light before login" or such. Is this a BIOS option or where can one adjust/disable this stupid option?
