I've seen this error message and solutions for other models, but none of the fixes seems to apply or work for the ThinkPad.
I get this error at Start Up and can't load Windows.
I've reseated the hard drive.
BIOS Start up settings are:
Network boot: PCI LAN
UEFI/Legacy Boot: Both
-UEFI/Legacy Boot Priority Legacy First
-CSM support: YES
Boot Mode: Quick
Option Key Display: Enabled
Boot Device List F12 Option: Enabled
Boot Order Lock: Disabled
Any ideas? I can't get it to load to windows and it won't let me reimage either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good day and welcome to the community.
Sorry you're having difficulty.
Unless you're actually trying to PXE boot to a network, the error you're seeing often denotes a problem with your HDD (or SSD if so equipped). Essentially, the BIOS doesn't see the drive and steps through the boot device list until it gets to the PC LAN and tries that.
If you look at the StartUp tab of your BIOS and expand the Boot item (1st image below), do you see any identifier for your HDD (similar to #5 in the 2nd image below)?

Thanks for your reply.
This is what I have under Boot Priority Order:
1. USB CD
2. USB FDD
3. ATA HDD0 Samsung MZ7Td128HAFV-000LA
4. ATA HDD1
5. USB HDD
6. PCI LAN Realtek PXE B04 D00
Excluded from boot priority order
So, it looks like it sees my HDD.

I actually have 3 machines are that now coming up with the same error.
The ThinkPad X230 shows the Boot Priority Order looks just like the screen shot you posted.
The other 2 laptops are Lenovo S431 and the Boot Priority Order in the BIOS on those machines, is what I posted in my previous post.
If that helps.
I think I'm going to try and replace the HD on the ThinkPad X230 and see if that makes a difference.
If it works with the new HD, I'll have to assume it was a bad HD.
