problem with fans.
when the computer sleeps, they spin at full speed. it doesn’t matter if the power supply is connected or not. they never stop. when the computer is turned off and you connect the power supply, the fans start spinning.
when you send to hibernate, the fans turn off, but if the power supply is connected they periodically fans turn on and turn off immediately. no matter how and how charged both batteries are or temperature.
Is it anyone so smart who came up with such nonsense?
On related topics in the BIOS there should be a normal S3, not that **bleep** now. this will solve the problem even with sleep. And now I have to use only hibernate when closing the laptop.

Hi wulfdog! Welcome to our forums community.
Could you provide us the Windows build version and BIOS version running on your machine? Type msinfo on the search box near the windows icon at the bottom left side of the screen and send to us a screenshot of the system information. You may also try installing the updated BIOS version here: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-helix-series-laptops/think.... Let us know how did it go.

Hi Jwes_Lenovo. Thanks for the quick response.
sleep behavior does not depend on the operating system. I installed windows 7, windows 8, without drivers and with drivers.
BIOS is this one, by reference.
