How good is the touch screen?

I was wondering how accurate is the touch screen?  I produce music with a DAW called Reason and it's similar to using actual hardware: http://www.vaevictus.net/reason/reason.jpg

Would I be able to adjust the sliders/knobs with my finger?  The knobs are kind of small, but I'm more concerned about the sliders.   This would make me feel much more like I'm using actual hardware.

On which model? Smiley Happy

I've got an X220T, and while I think you could use your fingers to operate the software, the corners and bottom side of the screen would cause issues when using the digitizer pen. X220T is known for unfortunately terrible edge and corner performance when it comes to using the pen.
