International warranty services for the X1 yoga 2nd gen overseas? 

 

Hi, i bought the laptop from lenovo.com last Nov. Now that the touch screen touch function has broken since the touch layer was broken. 

but now im in China for business. Does my x1 yoga eligible for IWS servce reparing the touch screen in China? 

 

item located in Guangzhou/China at the moment. 

i lost the receipt that i couldn't register my laptop to iws. 

 

i can't wait until i get back to LA for warranty. 

 

laptop part number is 20JDCTO1WW

ORDER number 4290868842

Purchased Date: Nov 27,2017

 

Please let me know how to proceed.

If you didn't buy accidental damage protection at the time of purchase, breaking the screen would not be covered by any warranty.  IWS would cover normal warranty service, but I believe accidental damage coverage is only available in the home country.  I suggest contacting a service provider in China for more information.  I am not a warranty expert, so if someone has more to add, that would be better.
