Is the Helix RAM chip replaceable/upgradable?

2013-04-27, 4:23 AM

I understand there are currently no single 16GB modules that fit the Helix, but once they are produced, will it even be possible to remove and replace the RAM in the Helix? Or is it soldered on and unreplaceable? 8GB is good, but I don't think it holds up for a 3 year window. I typically run 3-5 VMs at once, on top of the host OS (Windows 8). 16GB down the road will be necessary for my needs.

The Helix ram chip is soldered to the motherboard, and can't be upgraded.
