My lenovo Helix 2 tablet has a usb3 dock.
recently I have updated to latest windows 10 edition and after few hours my touch pad and track button stops respond even the 3 buttons above the touch pad is not working. I have re installed Windows 10 but the issue remains same.
does anyone knows how to diagnose the issue

Hi nayantha88! Welcome to our forums community. Are you referring to the Windows 10 1903 version update? If yes, your laptop is not part of the compatible Lenovo machines for the 1903 version of Windows 10. You can refer to this: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht508488. We suggest you to go back to the previous version.

I have recently noticed, touch pad and trach button both worked fine for 2 days.
But now again it does not work.
Previously when the system worked there were a seperate tab for synaptics at mouse properties
but now it looks like as the attached image
Awaiting some help on this !

Kindly uninstall the existing driver that you have in your device. After that please download the Touchpad driver manually from our support website: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-helix-series-laptops/think...
Look for Mouse, Pen and Keyboard (4) and please let us know how it goes.

I followed the instructions and the same result appears.
Control panel does not show me synaptics options
I have installed the synaptic driver for windows 10
Awaiting for a reply!

After a number of tries I was able to find the issue.
there was a loose connection in the mother board.
now everything seems to e running fine.
lets see where it goes
