NEW X61T: Blue Screen Problem!!!

Help! I got a new X61T for only a couple of days. The only thing I've done is update the operation system and anti-virus software. Then the blue screen problem ocurred when I reboot my computer. This problem came out again after I completely restored the computer for a while.

Please check out the picture I took of the blue screen: http://flickr.com/photos/kevin8432/2709204126/sizes/o/

Re: NEW X61T: Blue Screen Problem!!!

Welcome to the forum!

Can you boot into Safe Mode and restore your system to an earlier date, before you applied the updates?

Good luck and let us know.

Cheers,

George

I can't go into the operation system, even in saft mode. It shows exactly the same blue screen when I tried to enter in safe mode.

Re: NEW X61T: Blue Screen Problem!!!

If you have anything really important (documents etc.) you may want to save them, you'll need another HDD with external enclosure, or a "live" Linux disk to do this.

If not, just re-install the OS from scratch using the recovery partition.

Good luck and let us know.

Cheers,

George
