Re: Pen Precision distorted at Screen Edges

I have a Tablet X200 with Windows Vista SP2. I have noticed that the precision of the digital pen is distorted at the screen edges. I have tried to re-calibrate the touch screen several times with little / no change.

Is this an expected behavior?

Thanks

Re: Pen Precision distorted at Screen Edges

I also have a slight distortion on my x200 Tablet multitouch screen by upto 1 mm(either up or down in lanscape orientation) or so from where the tip of the pen is to where actually the cursor is on the screen near the edges.  This does not bother me as it is well within my tolerance for every day use.  I have also read other reviews where this was mentioned and I assume this is the expected behavior unless an Lenovo support states the contrary.

Also, if you do have a multitouch screen, make sure you do the pen calibration under Tablet PC settings in control panel and NOT the touch panel calibration as that is for the finger touch.  Prior to the Tablet PC setting calibration, my distortion near the corners were in the 2mm to 3 mm range.  After calibration, there is hardly any distortion.

Hope that helps,
