I have recently purchased a lenovo thinkpad x230 tablet from ebay. The seller specified that the laptop supports both touch and pen input. But only the pen works, the touch screen doesn't work.
After searching online quit a bit, I discovered that some models of x230t are only pen input (no touch).
But I don't know if that is the case with my laptop or is it some hardware or software problem, and I wasn't able to find any online documentation about the models that support touch.
My model number is: 3438-2S1, and my serial number is: XX-XXXXX.
Also attached is a photo of my laptop screen, if it helps in anyway.
Can anyone please help me?

That machine was originally delivered with a pen-only screen.

Were you able to know that from the machine type number I provided? or the serial number?
Also by "originally delivered", does that mean that I could purchase a replacement screen, one that includes finger touch capability?
