Found this pdf that lists the helix model code (SU, UU, etc) with features included.
http://www.lenovo.com/psref/pdf/tabook.pdf
I believe foreign models have an "F" in place of the "U" (SF, UF, etc)

Just got mine in the mail.
First impressions are quite good. Build quality is quite good. The keyboard connector is sturdy. Has just a litte bit more wobble than i would prefer. Very thin, not much thicker than the tablet 2. I like it way better than the surface pro.
Screen is amazing. Great Viewing angles and brightness/colors
The touch pad is giving me a bit of trouble. Havent used one of these fancy click ones before so it might just be me.
Keep wanting to keep a finger on the bottom to click but it thinks i want to do multitouch.
Its a little on the heavy side. Definately top heavy,. A little getting used to when its on you lap. The screen only tilts back about 120 degrees. which seem like its not enough in certain circumstances. looks like they did that because if you tild it any further back it would fall over from the top weight.
Boots INSANELY FAST! I'm talking like 1 sec from completely off.
Good product, X1 carbon makes a better better ultra book for sure but for being a tablet it does a great job.
Wish the keyboard was backlit.
IF your on the line between a tablet and ultrabook this does a great job of both. if you just want an ultrabook get a X1 carbon

Thanks for the early impressions. Obvious questions: does it get warm/hot in slate mode, and how's the battery life docked and undocked? I guess you'll need a little time for that last one.

seems to stay quite cool in tablet and notebook mode. just a little warm on the top right where the cooling system is.
runs surprisingly cool. especially with how small the vents are.
battery looks to be about 4 hours ish in tablet mode. 65% brightness. 8 hours notebook mode.
we will see more after the first couple battery cycles
ill run some full cpu burn in test to see how hot this puppy gets.
mostly just putting all my work software and configuring it right now.
sorry about grammer using the touch screen on it now

it actually works quite good for viewing with it flipped. very cumfy on your lapand you can tilt it as far back as you want. i never originally thought it would be useful in this position.

Congratulations with your Helix! Only a little bit jealous ![]()
You mention testing whether running full CPU burn will make the tablet get hot. Could I perhaps squeeze in a request in relation to that?
Could you monitor the CPU clock speed when it is being 100 % utilized? For example using CPU-Z http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html.
Running the CPU at 100 % in 15 minutes or so, then monitoring the clock speed for a couple of minutes should do the trick.
In various videos from CES 2013 Lenovo sales reps state that the CPU is not throttled when the tablet is in laptop mode. But I am curious whether this also holds true for the CPU turbo boost speed - which could be up to 1.2 GHz (depending on the CPU in your laptop).
I hope you are willing to to help me, as this is the single concern seperating me from placing an order ![]()
