I want to get a x200 tablet (7453-AH3) just for programming classes, but wonder whether x200 will run VS2013 with win8.1 well, such as response speed, smooth or not, a lot lags or not, etc.. Also, will OneNote work well on it?
Could anyone give some comments/suggestions/ideas on this? If I put a SSD in, will that make it better? If not, is that possible to upgrade X200 tablet motherboard & CPU to make it better?
Any help would be appreciate!

Welcome to the forum!
I'm not a programmer so I can't comment on VS2013, but I can tell you my own X200T is running Win8.1 perfectly fine, I'm using a two year old Plextor SSD and 8 GB RAM. I haven't experienced any lag or slow performance with my daily couch surfing activities or the occasional HD movie watching on the road.

Thank you for the help!
I think x200 7453-AH3 can only support up to 4G ram, let me know if I am wrong. I was just worrying that some people pointed out the windows 8.1 couldn't support x200 7453-AH3's touch screen well. But I will find out in 2 days
If I am going to put on a brand new SSD with it, do you know where is the best place to get all the drivers besides this one http://www.driverscape.com/manufacturers/lenovo/laptops-desktops/7453ah3/45355

X200 supports 8GB RAM, you may read old specs from Lenovo or other sites from the times when there were not 4GB DIMM's available. Many of my X200 (both "s" and non "s") and my two X200T's have 8 GB RAM.
My tablets have the "normal" pen touch screens. I don't use OneNote but so far the pen is working as it should...
I'm using Win8.1 will all newest updates btw.
To get the proper drivers working, let first Windows Update pick the ones it needs and then download, install and run Lenovo System Update: click me!

You need to buy DDR3 SODIMM RAM (204 pins), either DDR3-8500 or DDR3-10600, but avoid the following:
- No name brands from Ebay or any other eShop
- "Value RAM" line from Kingston (the others are ok)
- "Value Select" line from Corsair (the others are ok)
- Any DDR-12800 modules

I can't see the RAM (link brings me to neweggs homepage)
Keep us posted how it worked, hopefully VS2013 will run fine on it ;-)

No problem! That RAM should work fine
