Can someone confirm for me that ordering this will get me an Ericsson F3507G? I have been told from our I.T. purchasing that it will be an Option card and he can get it cheaper and install himself. I am trying to replicate a previously purchased unit that is out in the field, for testing.

If you are configuring that in the online store, the "Integrated AT&T Mobile Broadband (Ericsson 3G with GPS) [add $80.00]" will be the F3507G, unless there has been a recent change. Amazing if your IT guy can go through the purchasing cycle, install, and test, for less than that.

Thanks. I get very suspicious of our IT that's why I check. Just not a lot of model information on the Lenovo site. (for the record he claims to have spoken to Lenovo and they assured him that the integrated card that comes with the X200 is an Option Wireless (what he claims to be able to get cheaper).

It may be possible to get the card cheaper, but if it hasn't got the Lenovo FRU number printed on it you can expect it to throw an 1804 error - not approved WWAN card - and the system will not start. Hopefully your I.T. purchasing is aware of this limitation.

If you've taken the time to have one or two conversations, and they've bothered to look it up online, the odds are good that they've spent $80 in company time making the decision to save 80$ by spending the 15-20 minutes (I would assume at least $10 in time right there) to open the machine and install it.
