X220 Tablet - SSD and mSata SSD

I have a x220 tablet with SSD.

Need a little more space, so was thinking of adding a mSATA SSD.

Will want to continue to use my "regular" SSD as my boot and just use mSATA for storage (run VMs off it so need speed).

I don't think there are any issues but figure was worth asking.

Moved to correct forum.

Re: X220 Tablet - SSD and mSata SSD

no real issues. But the mSATA is only SATAII, whilst the main hdd bay operates at SATAIII.

Re: X220 Tablet - SSD and mSata SSD

Any issues with puttin a SATA iii mSATA drive.

The cheapest/best 120G mSATA I find is SATA iii.

Re: X220 Tablet - SSD and mSata SSD

Dear
Please if you can answer me,
I have Lenovo X220 Tablet, It is a different brand than X220

I would like to upgrade it with mSATA also I would like to keep 2Tb hard disk for data and all my music.
I have seen you have done the same,
I would kindly ask you to confirm if you have X220 tablet. Because the X201 never take or read the mSATAT
