I have been having the same problem but now I'm very cool with my Lenovo X220T. This laptop's touch screen kept clicking whenever I used wifi plus power plugged in. So for temporal solution since i needed power plus internet, what i have been doing is simply going to the device manager and deactivate touch on human interface section.
Always make sure that your electrical earth line is working well to curb static charges
For permanent solution just find another adapter.
God Bless Lenovo!

It seems that the touch screen logic seems to be rather sensitive to power. This suggests there are some issues with the machine and filtering the power properly and allowing RFI to get in.
Get a new PSU for the machine, 90W is best for the X220
