I just downloaded and flashed newest BIOS to date (ver 2.57) for my X230 Tablet.
Version 2.57 (18 December 2013)
- Added support for Windows 8.1 32-bit,64-bit.
[New functions or enhancements]
- Added support for new wireless devices.
- Fixed Help message on Intel TXT Feature in ThinkPad Setup menu.
- Fixed an issue where the system might be fail to remote boot.
I have interest on some network cards to upgrade my already perfect X230T, particulary the Intel AC7260 (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac wireless card). Intel AC7260 from Lenovo has FRU #04W3814
*X230 Tablet FRU BOM list file from support page is older than the BIOS (Jul 2013), so it might not be accurate with what this new BIOS really support now
Can anyone tell me what 'new wireless devices support' added into this 2.57 BIOS?

There was some issue with WiFi certification in Indonesia. The BIOS change isn't about adding new cards, it was just adding new Indonesia-only versions of the existing cards (6200 and 6205). 7260 is still not allowed in X230T. Sorry to disappoint you.

Thanks for the reply
So the "added support for new wireless devices" feature was just to add Indonesian specific 6200/6205 WiFi Card only? Are you saying that because you saw on my status that I live in Jakarta, Indonesia or is it just coincidence and apply for all x230T globally?
*I do live in Indonesia but I got my x230T from Newark, Delaware, US.

I did not notice your location when I posted my answer earlier.

Yes, this is correct.
