I have always used the m.2 slot as a boot drive with out issues.
I have recently upgraded to a much larger m.2 1TB drive and while it boots 40/50% of the time the other 50/60% it can't find the drive and goes to boot mode.
I then have to turn off the pc by holding the power button, wait 10 - 15 seconds, (i usually unplug everything) and then it starts up blazingly fast. The SSD works great outside of the pc as well
I can't figure out how to solve this, there is nothing wrong with the SSD and the only issues i have are with booting and i hope i am describing the problem clear enough
I am in legacy mode not UEFI if that makes any difference
Does anyone have idea on how to fix this, as its driving me nuts
