I'm using a ThinkPad X390 Yoga on Windows 10 and sadly my pen is not working in Krita, I can choose colours and pens as a mouse but cant paint with them. However, the pen works fine including pressure sensitivity in OneNote.
Might there be a failure with the settings or does it depends of the compatibility of the programs?
Hope it's someone out there who can help me

Are you running the Windows 10 1903 version?
It might be due to compatibility since some apps might not be designed to be used with pens. But Microsoft's OneNote and other apps are compatible since Microsoft has designed their apps to be used with pens since their Surface tablets come with pens.
Check also if you have the latest drivers for your pen. For example on my Lenovo laptop I can't scroll with 2 fingers on the trackpad on some parts of the OS because Lenovo didn't release an update for the ELAN mouse driver for the new 1903 Windows update so I have to wait for them to release a update for the driver.
